   I watch the Gundam movie form my classmates. I didn't watch too many Gundam anime. When I saw the Gundam Zero-Wing. I though Zero Wing is last robat hero in 2D anime, because after gundam is no any robat disign can make better them Zero wing. So far, is not too much robat anima like gundam have many nice robat in the one movie. It not too many 2D animation movies annd instand is 3D animation. I feel so sad 3D robats lost 2D hand drewing style. I guess is hard to find any movie like gundam to have nice story and nice design.

    This poetic movie has very sorrow story. This movie rhythm seems quite peaceful and slowly but inside has some really deeps blue into very cold mind. The two main characters have a dream. The dream made an air plane to into the huge tower. They promised a girl for this dream to be come true but when this girl disappeared, they gave up their dream even didn’t contact each other until they knew this girl stilled alive, so they finished air plane to make this deal come true. This movie describes really neat emotions for relationship and friendship. I like the way how dose lightly to show main character’s dreary life. Whole life covered super empty boring feelings. I can understand his reasons why even he can pretend people for waiting someone in train station or keep walk at street without any plan… It’s something match my life to feel how vacancy emotions. In that time, I like to stay alone with many people at street or I can by myself to stay like stranger in coffee shop. I feel I just want to stay outside watch people walk but don’t want to go back home to face myself…I understand this main character's feeling how much doesn’t want to face himself. End of this story main character made their dream to come true to bring that girl on their air plane to the tower. But I don’t know where is my dream’s going. I don’t know my dream will come true or just like really far away dream I never catch it!

    I think any art class for me just a piece of cake, because I trust if I pay a good tension and work hard for the homework, I will receive the good grades back. Ha, but the turth is not easy like my think. Especially rendering class, make a lot of classmate cry and change major. 90% classmates hate this class and only 10% classmates enjoin this class, but they have hard time on this class.

   I heared before had classmates quiteed their job for this rendering class. Some classmates cry after quite. For sure everyone think the teacher really give hard time for students to do their work. A lot of sad story made this class more scared...
    On the class, teacher says really mean words for someone who do really bad on homework. Even though teacher laugh at my color like sunburn orange. No matter u are a freshman or Senior, is really hard to get A but t o get B is almost everyone has. No one can get higher or lower but only one or two is A in class. If students want to get A u have to be really top or re due again. Also every assignments use different material. This time u may do a good job but next time u may not know what’s material going to use. So far no one knows every skill in class.  It’s means u have to really hit homework up to show you have a good piece or a nice skill. Teacher may be give u a good grade. In that moment, u will appreciate GOD a lot. The feeling almost like win the lottery.          
   On this term, I have some troubles happen on me and make me can’t keep my class attending. Also I did several wrong pieces for my homework. Those terrible things make me want to retake this class or change major. I spend all spring break to re make my homework. When I turn my homework to him, he really give me a lot of suggestion to change my homework. I guess I put my all effect on this class. Hopefuly I can pass this class!!! 
  anyway, only one thing make me cheer up is my classmates tell me they like it! Thanks laaaa....         

     Voice Of A Distant Start is a 20 minute animation movie completed by only one.(the original name is Ho Shi No Koe. The meaning is voice of star.) The story is very simple, but it's really sad, also the songs go together with this story very beautifully... 
It's like reading a poem… u can know what the 2 characters are feeling.... they can't see each other for 8 long years ...how sad!!! 
    I can't believe only one person made it. It is 2D picture, with 3D modeling, and background, even the voice… all that is done by him...that's amazing!
    If we compare ourselves to a real animation company, the big difference is they work for the money, and we work for free...the model designers who work on animation, have groups with a lot of people... So far it means that a group with a lot of people does this type of thing. We are not only ones who make an animation. Also we are all students who can only spend extra time for this. It seems that we don't have much advantages for this animation. But After I watched this movie, I feel proud to work with those classmates. At least I can work with those who have the same dream about completing an animation.^^

 This project is animation marathon...  

   On last semester, I got the school for transfer. I really want to do some thing FUN for last term. In fact I do nothing in the  school, just waiting for all term to finish.....
   I guess Vy has same situation with me for transfer. He took 2 classes with me, so we guys see each other kind of evey day( if I didn't skip class) But I didn't know him well until before  last 6 weeks to finish school.
  One day, he asked me to show the drawing to him and to talk about his movie of his animation group. He says he has long experience for 3D and they start working for one 10 mins project, but it's need 2 year on it.
  This project is very interesting to me, because I had long experience for comics drawing. 
   Even I know all  classmates in group but I don't think I can do well for converstion...
I am a international student, and too much things I have to lean.........>,< So I start to worry a lot of things...  
 But in that moment, I really want to keep myself to very busy. So my decisiion is ONLY for HELPING in the group....but my thinking never right.....so that's why I sart working on this project for my Summer.....

mystery stuff

We start to working on this project have being 2 weeks....But there has some kind of odd thing that is when they guys left, always kept some mystery thing in the room...likes pen, paper,book and DVD... I guess finish this summer I will have a lot of stuff without name on...
 I hope one day I can pick up some movies DVD,cell phone, watch, computer or car key....haaaaa(~~ u think too much!)

AppleSeed & Story

Appleseed that it's super terrible to match our story...
When we guys done the story already, then movie coming out also.
After we saw the appleseed ...we knew our story have to change it...
I can't believe appleseed is 80% similar our story background.
It's seems we copy appleseed story to be our story.
(That's make me want to stop appleseed  to publish on this would...)
So we start to change story set up...it's means we kind of spend 6 weeks to get same story back...... ED &Vy cheer up

Character design

This time, I work on the character design. The good thing is that I can research a lot of naked body~oh no...human figure^^
    This job is super important, because I design the character face and will determine if it is good looking or not. First, I looked at a lot of famous people and picked one to be the model for the character and then used this model to create my own. (this has to  be one that everyone will want to draw many times!) 
  The female is easy for me to create, but the male character is hard. 
This guy can't be too handsome or too puffy. He can't be too nice or too evil. His age can't be too young or too old.  Finally I chose Christian Bale to be main character model. His face and body suits our male character's look. This character has to know how to fight.
    So I go went back to the web site to research more Christian Bale pictures. When I looked at an early picture, I got a shock... I can believe these 2 pictures are the same guy!!! (look at the picture on below)
It's seems like these two are brothers! Obviously he lost a lot of weight ~ Sean said he lost weight for work. It makes me admire the stamina of these people!!!!

Eastern and Western

  A big question for me is that I cannot put this project into my portfolio for my future to use. So I don’t know why I doing this…I guess it’s just to keep busy during summer…haaaa!
   The character set up is a big challenge for me, because I have to change my drawing style. By the way, I had 8 years comics experience before. That style was traditional anime style character. The person has big head, big eyes and a small mouth. Anyways, it’s not the real proportion of a human.( If a real person had that kind of style, he must scare everybody!)
   It means I drew this way for long time, but now I have to change to an American style, to draw the people to look more realistic. So I have to practice drawing a real person’s face and to change again and gain. Finally, I got a style that I want. The good thing is that my drawing style is flexible.
   Hopefully I will not lose my own drawing style!!! 

3D modeling
  I figure that we don’t have enough time to learn 3D modeling in one summer!!! When I decided to work on this project, I thought I would just be working on the drawing part. I never thought I would have to do 3D modeling and use Lightwave...(hey...u think too simple) That's right, we don’t have enough people working the on modeling part, and this project is70% 3D modeling!!! So after we finish all the design and set up, we have to practice modeling.... It means before we go back to school in the Fall, we have to know how to use Lightwave. Also, it's hard to find other people who can model and join us.(I bet no one want to model just have fun with those kids...) I remember when I took  3D modeling class, I spent all month to finish one simple model...><  Even the teacher didn't teach how to model, but just taught us how to use program. And it's kind of big project for us. It means break time is over…I have to keep going to model well^^

environment set up

  On this project we are doing a crazy set up for environment. The story's timing is set up 200 years in the future...it means we have to create our own city. We can't  use any pictures from outside street. If we use stuff from the present, I guess people from future people will laugh at those old things. This hard part of project is not the character set up, or story how to going, but is all city environment that needs to be created. The fun part also is the most diffcult for us because no one knows how the city will look like in 200 years?! So we have to desgin robots, cars, weapons, costume, streets, traffic lights, room space, buildings, and bad guys... it takes a long time to create a city. After done for set up, we guys have to modeling all environment. That's interesting to see how's future city look like. Even this project is drive me crazy..haaaa

illustration VS. animation

          When I got into the illustration major, a lot of friends asked me what is the difference between animation and illustration?!
    Oh right, the simple explanation is that animation has movement and illustration is only an image. It means that illustration can be anything. Such us graphic design, painting, drawing, or a children’s book… so in this major you have to know different media, so it’s not only one type. (Even thought its hard, it really suits me!)
   In high school, I learned different types of media. Luckily, after high school, I knew some basic graphic programs, and in that time, worked in a comic books group. But I never thought I would do an animation project.
   So now I have to start to learn know how to model 3D stuff…and to know light wave well…><  In this month, I have to learn how to model on light wave. Poor me, we don’t have enough 3D people…I guess if I can model well, I will have no problem for any art major…^^

Pen tool of illustrator

  Vy shows us how to use illustrator to make 3D modeling.
( when he said that worked, I thought illustrator could worked for all model…)
That is use pen tool to draw out line and then to put on light wave to model. It’s save more time to make shape on light wave.
That’s remind me my professor show me once in the class, but now everything I return to him…haaa  
I guess pen tool is I learn well on illustrator class. I use pen tool a lot, so it’s more easy work on this way.
So if I use pen tool well, I am not worry about any difficult shape.

about finial meeting on Summer

I can’t believe this summer almost finish. On next month, we don’t have any meeting to work together. Because everyone school are going to start. Also I have to prepare to move to new apartment. We will work on this project by our own. For those 2 months, I learn about lots of things, also how to use my poor English to joke around and to understand some program direction. Thank for those guys repeat many times to let me understand and have lots fun with those guys.
   It’s big challenge for me get note form their speech, but I guess not too bad for learn. It’s seems this project will take long forever but fortunately the story board coming out from our small amount people in those 2 months. Finish story board, it’s mean I can really START on this project…. On those 2 months, we have a bad news is one person quit from group, because he how to work on other sates. Even he has no time show up on the meeting. That’s sad our group become more small… So far we don’t have enough people work on this project and it’s not easy find other one.

Whatever people will finding more or not, I think to know how to model first and that can shorten time on this project (I mean if I can model something that will make this project coming out fast!!!) Also I know a case about one person finish while animation movie.This news is push me to concentrate and improve my skill on this project. No matter what's perblems coming on the future, I will keep going to do me best...I guess we are fine to do it with smell group to be well done!!!!
